JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The storekeeper is responsible for inventory management in departments and clinics at the hospital. The work includes orders, inventory, tagging, unpacking, and returns. The role involves creating and updating lists and structures daily or weekly, as well as following applicable routines and decisions.

The work also includes developing new routines together with the customer and being adaptable to changes based on the needs of care. The storekeeper plans their workday independently and maintains continuous contact with procurement, central stores, healthcare staff, and external parties.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Very good computer skills, including the Office suite, Sesam 2, Raindance, and various systems.
  • Good physical condition.
  • Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and be adaptable.
  • Communicative, attentive, and organized with good structure.
  • Ability to complete ongoing tasks.
  • Good collaboration skills.
  • Efficient and solution-oriented with the ability to act promptly in case of problems.
  • Results-oriented and willing to work.
  • Ability to follow templates and instructions as well as create them.
  • Punctual and able to keep deadlines.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Experience in healthcare.
  • Knowledge of medical supplies.
  • Experience with LEAN.
  • Experience in service work.

The organization needs storekeepers to ensure that the supply of materials to departments and clinics functions without interruption. The role is important for maintaining structure, flow, and order in the stores and ensuring that healthcare staff always have the right materials available.

The need also includes the competence to work independently, create structure, follow routines, and adapt work to changes in the needs of care. Since there are many points of contact, good communication skills and the ability to collaborate are also required.
