About the operation:

As a substitute, you will be employed by the HR unit for competence supply and salary, which is a unit within Vallentuna municipality that recruits substitutes and takes care of short-term staffing within the municipality's operations.

You will work as a substitute within the Cleaning Service, which is an engaged team of about 40 people. Together, the Cleaning Service has the task of maintaining the indoor environments in the municipality's buildings and rented premises.

Job Responsibilities:

Working as a substitute cleaner means providing the best possible cleaning service to our customers. The work is varied and requires the ability to take initiative. You will work throughout the municipality and in different types of premises. This may mean that one day you clean at a school or preschool, the next day in our office premises, and the third day at one of our leisure centers or libraries. Usually, you follow a schedule that indicates which areas should be cleaned and in what order. For example, if you are cleaning at a school, a typical workday may include cleaning the gym, toilets, corridors, stairwells, classrooms, and dining hall.

As a substitute, you work when one of our regular employees is absent. We mainly seek substitutes who can work weekdays. Working hours vary, but it is most common that you start around 6-7 AM if you work morning shifts, and if you work afternoon shifts, you usually finish around 8 PM. You start and end your workday at the same location where you are cleaning that day.

The Cleaning Service is not just a service function – the department is an important part of creating a welcoming and inspiring everyday life for everyone who visits our premises.

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of Swedish.
• Meritorious with cleaning education and the ability to present SRY certificate or Pryl certificate.
• Meritorious with documented cleaning experience and knowledge of various cleaning techniques.
• Meritorious if you are familiar with how to handle cleaning machines and have knowledge of different materials and cleaning products.
• Meritorious with a B driver's license.
• Meritorious if you can quickly be on-site in Vallentuna, by car or public transport. (Within a maximum of 1 hour).
• Good physical condition as the work can be physically demanding.
