We are looking for new employees to assist with cleaning on Connecting Stockholm's subway. If you enjoy physical work, like challenges, and want to develop while contributing to society, you are welcome to apply!

The position involves contributing to and ensuring efficient and satisfactory cleaning within the subway assignment. Public transport operates most hours of the day, which means that working hours can include early mornings, late evenings, and in some cases, even overnight. The work may also include weekends. You need to be able to get to and from work even when the subway is not in operation. The employment will be temporary, starting in May/June when we have several course starts. More detailed information will be provided during the recruitment process.

We are responsible for various forms of station maintenance, either within the station environment, i.e., in customer-facing areas, or in vehicle maintenance, where you work in one of our depots cleaning trains or changing advertisements in the carriages.

Main Responsibilities

  • Cleaning.
  • Machine operation.
  • High-pressure water washing.
  • Emptying waste bins.
  • Toilet cleaning (not public restrooms).
  • Stain removal from walls.
  • You will also contribute to reporting deviations, graffiti, maintenance needs, and other vandalism through digital tools.

Qualifications

To thrive in the role of Station Cleaner, you are very meticulous, responsible, and self-driven. Furthermore, you are service-oriented and take your own initiatives to achieve your goals. You have an understanding of safety-classified work and regulations. The work will largely be performed at our stations or depot areas, so you need to feel comfortable working in customer-facing environments independently according to written instructions. Additionally, you have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certificate from SRY Service Industry's Professional Board and PRYL - Project Professional Certificate Cleaner.
  • Training INSTA 800.
  • Experience in cleaning in public environments, on vehicles, or in depots.

  • The employment begins with mandatory full-time training lasting about 1 week.
  • The monthly salary for this position is 23,559 SEK OB, depending on experience.
  • Temporary employment.
  • The employment is covered by a collective agreement and offers several benefits such as SL card, wellness allowance, lunch benefits, and discounted insurances.
