Tire Fitters Needed in Kronoberg County

As a tire fitter for our clients in Kronoberg County, you will be an important part of a team during the busy tire season. You will work in a fast-paced environment where collaboration and precision are essential to ensure that customers' vehicles are handled correctly.

The role involves physical work where you will take significant responsibility for ensuring the flow in the workshop operates efficiently. This is an opportunity for you who enjoy practical work and want to develop in service and vehicle maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of tire fitter, you will be responsible for the entire process of tire changes. The work is performed according to current safety procedures, with the customer's safety in focus.

Your main tasks include:

• Changing complete wheels on passenger cars and lighter vehicles.

• Dismantling and mounting tires on rims using machines.

• Balancing wheels to counteract vibrations and wear.

• Checking tread depth, tire pressure, and the general condition of the tires.

• Basic administration and registration in the customer system.

• Cleaning tires and rims before storage in tire hotels.

• Maintaining order and cleanliness in the workplace.

PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with good physical fitness as heavy lifting and an ergonomically demanding work environment occur daily. You have a genuine interest in cars and mechanics, as well as a desire to deliver high-quality services even under high workloads.

To succeed in this position, we expect you to meet the following:

• Previous experience in tire service or education in automotive technology is an advantage.

• Documented experience using impact wrenches and balancing machines.

• Good ability to understand and follow technical instructions in Swedish.

• Valid B driver's license to move vehicles within the workshop area.

As a person, you are punctual, stress-resistant, and possess good collaboration skills. You are service-oriented in your interactions with customers and colleagues and take the initiative to drive work forward when needed.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The position involves working for our clients in Kronoberg County. The businesses consist of established workshops and tire centers that value quality and customer satisfaction. During peak seasons, you will work in teams where the pace is high and camaraderie is strong.

You will receive on-site training to learn specific tools and routines. Working hours are scheduled during the day, but some flexibility may be required during the most intense weeks of the tire season.
