Job Description

We are looking for experienced track welders for our client in Gothenburg, who operates within the railway and infrastructure sector across Sweden. The work involves welding on tracks and in track environments, where high demands are placed on safety, quality, and precision. You will participate in projects both in urban environments (for example, tramways) and at larger railway facilities.

The job may involve travel within Sweden. The starting point is Gothenburg, but you can reside in another location.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on tracks and rails according to applicable standards and instructions
• Thermite welding, overlay welding, or other licensed methods depending on the assignment
• Inspection and documentation of completed work
• Teamwork with other professional categories within the track

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Documented experience in track welding
• Relevant training and valid welding licenses/methods for work on tracks
• Experience working in track environments/railway environments

Preferred:

• Certification according to SS-EN 14730-2 (thermite welding)
• Welding qualification according to SS-EN ISO 9606-1
• Experience from tramway/street rail
• Hot work certificate
• Track competence/BASÄVISTA

Employment Conditions

• Employment type: Permanent or project employment, as agreed
• Extent: Full-time
• Working hours: Varying, day/evening/night/weekend depending on the project
• Location: Gothenburg, but travel within Sweden may occur
• Start date: As agreed
