Job Description

As a warehouse worker at the Assistive Technology Center, you will work to provide our customers with assistive devices and pharmaceutical-related products. Your tasks mainly consist of operating forklifts and picking order lines based on a picking list. Other tasks may occur as needed, such as:

• Packing, labeling, and preparing for distribution
• Maintaining order and tidiness in warehouse shelves
• Working administratively in our business system, Sesam

To provide good service as a warehouse worker, it is important that you:

• Have a good attitude and are service-oriented
• Enjoy working together with others and contribute to a positive work environment
• Are responsible and have a sense of order to ensure quality and high patient safety
• Are flexible and can adapt to changing conditions

We are looking for someone with a completed upper secondary education combined with previous work experience in warehousing. Since the position as a warehouse worker largely involves forklift driving, it is a requirement that you have a forklift license and good driving experience.

You communicate fluently in Swedish and can follow written and verbal work instructions as well as engage in dialogue with customers and colleagues. Furthermore, it is important that you have the physical ability to walk and stand throughout the workday, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks. You possess basic digital skills and an understanding of working in various digital systems.

About the Assistive Technology Center

The Assistive Technology Center is part of the Supply Management Administration within the Västra Götaland Region and is a competence and logistics center for the 49 municipalities, as well as the Västra Götaland Region's own operations. We are located in Skövde, Mölndal, Borås, and Uddevalla. Our service offerings are based on the needs of healthcare providers for both in-depth knowledge in the field of assistive technology and various service functions to support the healthcare chain. We handle purchasing, warehousing, distribution, as well as service and maintenance of assistive devices. We also assist prescribers with, among other things, assistive technology counseling, individual fittings, adaptations/special adaptations, as well as study visits and training. We offer you a developing workplace where you receive orientation, training, and good employment conditions. As part of our team, you as an employee lay the foundation for a well-functioning healthcare system.
