During the summer, our outdoor environment department focuses on keeping our areas clean and tidy, which includes keeping playgrounds, green areas, and flower beds free from weeds, trash, and the like. All to ensure our tenants feel at home and to create pleasant and safe areas around Gävle.

Are you an engaged and inspiring person who wants to lead young people at their first contact with the working life? Then we might have the summer job for you! We are currently looking for several supervisors for our summer youth in the outdoor environment department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a supervisor, you will work alongside our summer youth. You will lead the daily work and be the one who, together with regular staff, organizes and plans the work for the summer youth.

In addition, you will work with the summer youth and perform the following tasks:

• Cleaning courtyards and other common areas
• Weeding flower beds and playgrounds
• Other maintenance tasks as needed

This is a temporary position from June 8 to August 7. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00 with two half-hour breaks during the day. Salary is according to the collective agreement with the Property Employees' Union.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and has the ability to inspire and motivate others. You take initiative and are responsible for ensuring that your tasks are completed in the best possible way. You have a pedagogical inclination, and if you have previous experience leading children and youth, we consider that a strong merit.

We also see that you have an interest in outdoor environments and care about keeping things clean and tidy. You enjoy seeing the results of your work and have no problem with repetitive tasks. If you have education in gardening or property maintenance, or work experience that we consider equivalent, we also see that as a merit.

A B driver's license is a requirement for the position.
