Goods Handler Wanted at FMV
We are looking for a service-oriented and meticulous goods handler with experience in logistics, goods, or warehouse management who will ensure that aviation materials and goods are handled correctly and are in the right place at the right time. Do you want to be an important part of the flow at the test site and contribute to the smooth operation of the business every day? Then you might be the one we are looking for.
As a goods handler with us, you will play a central role in maintaining a safe and efficient material flow, where correct handling and good cooperation with the business are at the forefront. You will ensure that aviation materials are handled and stored correctly by working with receiving, shipping, and inventory management of goods and aviation materials within the test site. This means that you will also work with incoming goods inspection, manage outgoing goods shipments, pick up materials at the test site, and transport materials to be delivered to the business.
Your tasks will also include placing orders, working with inventory, and assisting other employees and colleagues who work with goods and logistics at the test site.
The position is located in Linköping. Work is performed on-site every working day.
About You
We are looking for someone with a high school education or equivalent skills acquired in another way that we assess as comparable. You have current and relevant experience in logistics, goods, or warehouse management. The position requires that you have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
If you have current and relevant experience with the military operation and maintenance system Fenix, the ordering tool PRIO, and/or the tracking tool CAMP, we believe this will help you in your work with us. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of the Office suite. We view positively if you have knowledge of aviation material services focusing on goods receiving and logistics, but this is not a requirement. It is also advantageous if you have: a B driver's license, a C driver's license, forklift operator certificates A, forklift operator certificates B, and/or wheel loader certificates.
Personal qualities are of great importance to us. We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences and are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating with others, is attentive, and solves problems constructively. To thrive in the position, it is important that you are service-oriented as you will have many points of contact and assist others. We also see that you are self-driven and flexible, you easily adapt to changing circumstances and can quickly change your perspective and approach. You approach your work in a structured manner and are meticulous in your work.
