Wasa Tree Felling is looking for a Team Leader

Wasa Tree Felling continues to grow and is now looking for an experienced and confident Team Leader to lead our teams on-site in Stockholm. We primarily work for municipalities, property companies, and businesses, but also for private individuals, delivering professional tree care with the highest focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

About the position

As a Team Leader with us, you have a central role in the daily operations. You are responsible for leading and coordinating the work on-site, ensuring that assignments are carried out correctly and safely, and acting as the point of contact for the customer and company management.

The role is both operational and leading, which means you will participate in the practical work while planning, distributing, and following up on tasks. The work often takes place in complex environments such as public spaces, residential areas, and densely populated areas, where structure, clear communication, and a strong focus on safety are crucial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and distribute work within the team on-site

• Ensure that work is performed according to applicable safety and work environment regulations

• Plan work tasks and efficient resource use

• Act as the point of contact for the customer on-site

• Conduct and follow up on risk assessments

• Ensure the right methods, equipment, and working practices

• Actively participate in tree work as needed

• Be responsible for order, structure, and a safe working environment

• Report the status of work to management

We are looking for someone who

• Has at least 5 years of documented work experience in the arborist profession or qualified tree work

• Is ETW or ISA certified

• Has experience in leading teams or taking responsibility in the field

• Has a Category B driving license

• Has relevant chainsaw training

• Is confident in making decisions and leading others in complex work situations

• Has a very strong safety mindset and good ability to conduct risk assessments

• Is structured, responsible, and communicative

Meritorious

• Category BE driving license

• Experience working for municipalities and larger property companies
