JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for several full-time bus drivers for our school and charter traffic in Stockholm.

  • some assignments Monday to Friday

You will start your career at Bergkvara with our fixed assignments, which can vary from driving employees from the Armed Forces to a shooting range where you must be able to turn on a dime, to driving tunnel traffic for Cramo, where the speed is limited to a maximum of 20 km/h. You may also drive replacement traffic or evacuation traffic that may be time-limited.

In school traffic, you are the safe and secure driver that allows both children and their parents to trust that the journey to and from school is conducted in the best possible way.

Once you are comfortable in your role, you can occasionally mix in charter tours. We strive to create balance in the different driving assignments so that you have a good working environment. In charter traffic, you meet a variety of groups who are often on their way to an exciting excursion. These assignments are highly varied, and no two trips are alike. There are different destinations and tasks, but also different groups of people.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed as a bus driver with us, you have:

  • formal education in bus driving (D-license and YKB)
  • driven a bus in the last 5 years
  • experience driving a bus in Stockholm County
  • good ability to understand and express yourself in Swedish, especially verbally

As a person, you are service-oriented, accommodating, and solve arising problems smoothly and constructively. You enjoy meeting new people, both big and small, and adapt your way of expressing yourself and relating to them according to the situation and person.

Of course, you are a safe driver with good judgment as critical situations may arise where you need to quickly adapt to new conditions and changed circumstances. Fundamentally, you are a calm, secure, and stable person who meets others in a respectful and professional manner. You ensure that others feel welcomed, well taken care of, and secure.

Following rules and routines, being meticulous, and striving to develop and improve both your own competence and contribute to the overall quality and results of the organization are crucial.
