About the position
Professionals Nord is looking for a logistician on behalf of our client. Our client is a Swedish industrial company with long experience in developing and manufacturing advanced wire drawing machines. The machines are customized and manufactured at the facility outside Ljusfallshammar before being delivered to customers all over the world. The corporate culture is characterized by collaboration, technical competence, and a strong commitment to quality.

The assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant with our client for six months. The intention is that you will eventually be able to be directly employed by them, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.


About the role
As a logistician, you are part of the logistics team and have a central role in the company's material and goods flows. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for incoming and outgoing goods, internal transports, and inventory management. With a structured approach, you ensure that the right materials are in the right place at the right time and contribute to an efficient production flow. The role involves close collaboration with production, purchasing, and other departments, where computers and forklifts are important tools. Your tasks include:

  • Receiving, unpacking, and registering incoming goods
  • Preparing and packing machines and materials for delivery
  • Performing internal transports and material picking for production
  • Loading and unloading outgoing goods
  • Gathering materials for shipping to subcontractors
  • Ensuring order in the warehouse and workshop area as well as for forklifts and vehicles

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in a similar logistics or warehouse role
  • A relevant education in logistics or industry, or equivalent work experience
  • Good computer skills
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English
  • Forklift license
  • Driving license B and access to a car

Meritorious:

  • Experience from working in mechanical industry
  • Knowledge in reading technical drawings and good material knowledge
  • Crane and wheel loader licenses
