To get into the role, one needs to be on-site full-time for the first year.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and collaborating with partners, consultants, and suppliers in a cross-functional and international context
- Coordinating the integration of components, design principles, and modularization within your system area
- Developing and further developing systems and, if necessary, components in close collaboration with suppliers
- Initiating and following up tests and simulations to ensure that technical requirements are met
- Contributing operationally through your own design tasks when needed
Requirements
To thrive in this role, we believe you have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent, combined with relevant work experience in design or product development. You have a strong technical interest and a good understanding of mechanical designs and technical systems.
You work in a structured manner, take responsibility for technical decisions, and have the ability to see both details and the big picture. The role requires you to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, in both Swedish and English, and that you thrive in a leadership role where you drive the work forward together with others.
We want you to have good design experience with welded and bent steel structures.
Experience from heavy mobile vehicles is highly meritorious.
You also have experience working in CAD and PLM systems. Good leadership skills are important to drive projects and teams towards common goals and create effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
