Support Technician at Hydroware

Hydroware develops, manufactures, and sells high-tech drive and control systems for elevators. We are now strengthening the Support Team at Hydroware in Alvesta with a support technician for elevators who has a strong interest in technology, is driven to find solutions, and puts the customer at the center!

About the Position

In the role of Support Technician at Hydroware, you will assist our customers - usually elevator company technicians - with technical support and troubleshooting related to installation, service, or downtime of any of our elevator systems. You will act as customer support, troubleshoot, and answer technical questions. You will primarily guide and troubleshoot via phone and email, but it may also occur that we visit a customer if necessary. Within technical support, several exciting challenges are combined in one profession; top-class customer interaction, technical challenges, and pure problem-solving.

The support team surrounding you consists of several employees, all with many years of experience in our industry. We see continuous improvement work as an important part of the core of our operations, where we hope you want to contribute.

Who You Are

We see that you, as a candidate, have:

  • Relevant work experience in similar businesses/roles. Experience with elevator systems and components is a plus.
  • Basic electrical education at least at the high school level, or equivalent assessed work experience.
  • Technology-oriented, generally practical, and solution-oriented.
  • Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Basic German is a plus.
  • Good understanding of technology, preferably also in mechanics and hydraulics.
  • Driver's license (B).

This, combined with an interest in technology, troubleshooting, technical support, and learning, will help you succeed in the role.
