Your Responsibilities

Are you an experienced CNC operator looking for new challenges, or do you have a technical background and an interest in developing within the CNC field? Then this could be the right opportunity for you. As a CNC operator at Atlas Copco in Tierp, you will play a central role in the production of components for the company's high-quality tools. The work is done on CNC-controlled machines and may involve turning, milling, or grinding, depending on your background, and in some cases also processes within heat treatment or surface treatment. You will be responsible for setting up machines, conducting quality checks, and working with some programming. The role is varied and technically challenging, and you will have good opportunities to develop – both in your tasks and within the organization. Since shift work is involved, it is important that you enjoy varying work hours.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with education in CNC or a technical background, preferably with experience in CNC work. If you have worked as a CNC operator before, it is an advantage, but the most important thing is that you have an interest in technology, a positive attitude, and a desire to develop as a CNC operator. Good knowledge of reading technical drawings and measurement techniques is important, and experience in CNC programming is a plus. To succeed in this role, you need to be meticulous, have a high quality mindset, and enjoy taking initiative. Depending on your experience, you will receive an introduction tailored to your background, with opportunities to deepen and broaden your knowledge over time.
