About the position

Your main responsibilities

In the role of welder at Saab, you will use all your previous skills in welding to handle the highly qualified tasks required for the construction and repair of advanced submarines. The job involves welding using the TIG, MIG/MAG, and MMA methods.

Requirements and qualifications for the task:

• Welding license 136, 141 or 111 (EN ISO 9606-1)
• Experience in welding materials over 10 mm
• Experience in preheating materials
• Experience in gas cutting
• Experience in arc gouging or gouging.
• Previous relevant work experience from heavy welding industry, shipbuilding industry, nuclear power industry or similar.
• Basic computer skills

The following are considered advantageous:

• Hot Work certificate
• Previous work in material group 3

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, you have extensive experience and licenses in welding materials over 10 mm. You are a team player and see the team as the company's strongest link. Furthermore, you are meticulous, quality-conscious, and have a high safety awareness in everything you do. You have the ability to prioritize, work calmly and structured, and advocate for order in your work. You have good knowledge of reading blueprints and understand the importance of documentation. Before employment, you will take a work test to ensure your competence. You will also undergo a security check and health test. Swedish citizenship is a requirement.
