🪄 The role in brief

This is not a traditional sales role. As a Retention Consultant, you will be the hub between the customer, business, and future. You will meet customers who are hesitant, want to leave, or need to be reminded of why they chose us. You listen, analyze, challenge, and guide - with the goal of building long-term relationships that truly last.

In 2025, we started a brand new retention team with a new, driven manager who wants to create a working method with a clear effect: less churn, happier customers. The Nordic team is growing and is a central part of Culligan's focus for 2026. Here we are building a proactive, data-driven, and business-oriented way of working with customer loyalty - and you are one of the key players. You will not only be the one who saves customers but also the one who captures what works, what is problematic, and what we can improve. The customer's voice in the organization, simply put.

You are triggered by understanding the customer's needs, creating sustainable solutions, and seeing how your work changes both customer satisfaction and the business. You will:
  • Be at the forefront of our most important customer relationships, in daily dialogue with customers who are considering leaving, changing, or developing their collaboration with Culligan

  • Dive deep into the customer's needs, business, and challenges to find solutions that create value for both the customer and us

  • Actively win back, secure, and develop business - with a clear focus on reducing churn and increasing customer lifetime value

  • Work both data-driven and relationship-driven: proactively based on insights and patterns, and reactively in sharp customer dialogues

  • Drive retention conversations that actually make a difference - with the right offer, tone, and timing

  • Follow up, analyze, and maximize every opportunity in CRM, always with KPIs and business results in sight

  • Be the customer's voice into the organization and deliver sharp insights about what works, what is problematic, and what we need to improve

  • Work closely with Customer Care, Sales, Marketing, and Service to create a seamless premium experience that keeps customers, helps them grow, and encourages them to recommend us

We believe you:

  • Have experience in sales, retention, account management, or customer service - preferably with a focus on reducing churn and building customer loyalty

  • Are sharp and analytical, read between the lines, and turn insights from dialogue into concrete solutions

  • Take full ownership - you drive every case, save contracts, and ensure that nothing is left unsaid or unanswered

  • Understand the value of long-term relationships and always work with sustainable, business-oriented solutions - not short-term quick fixes

  • Are data-driven, system-savvy, and structured, but thrive in a fast-paced environment with results as a benchmark

  • Are more than an administrator - you want to understand the customer, create results, and truly win back relationships!

👯 Your team

You will be part of our Nordic retention team, which currently consists of three people in Norway and one in Finland. The team is growing, and we are working hard to strengthen our capacity and presence across the Nordics. The retention team is part of the marketing department, and you will report directly to our Retention Manager. You will have a genuine doer as a manager - high energy and clear business focus. Things happen here, decisions are made, and initiatives are rewarded. At the same time, there is room to do it right: understand the customer, analyze needs, and build solutions that last over time.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the entire organization, especially marketing, sales, and customer service, but also with our service function. Here at Culligan, both staff and technicians play crucial roles - the service technicians are out with our customers every day. Therefore, every effort in the retention team makes a significant difference for both colleagues, customers, and our Nordic development.
