We are currently looking for several individuals who want to work as Logistics Assistants/Supply Technicians on an hourly basis at Karolinska University Hospital.

About the position
Perioperative medicine and intensive care (PMI) is a hospital-wide function for patient-centered and high-quality care as well as research and education within perioperative medicine and intensive care for adult patients at Karolinska University Hospital. Perioperative medicine includes anesthesia, surgery, and pre- and postoperative activities. We operate in both Huddinge and Solna.
The Sterile Technology and Logistics unit is an important service unit with the main task of providing surgical operations with sterile surgical equipment and disposable sterile materials.
The logistics unit performs inventory service with storage and distribution of sterile consumables and hospital-sterilized goods. Within the sterilization process, instruments are cleaned, packed, and sterilized and delivered to the inventory. Surgical departments and care departments place an order to the logistics process that delivers. Our vision is for Sterile Technology and Logistics at Karolinska University Hospital to be a world-class sterile technical unit!
The tasks are typical warehouse duties such as goods reception, picking, and replenishment of local inventory.
The position we offer is an hourly employment.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Completed high school education
- Good computer and system skills
- Fluent Swedish in writing and speaking
Meritorious:
- Experience working in healthcare, preferably as an operating room assistant
- Experience working with medical technology products and in the pharmaceutical industry (cleanroom)
- Experience from warehouse operations

Function Perioperative Medicine and Intensive Care
The Function of Perioperative Medicine and Intensive Care is the hospital’s combined resource for anesthesia, surgery, pre- and postoperative care, and intensive care for adults. We are also responsible for hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO), highly specialized pain management, and the sterile technical units.
