Summer Job at Scan in Halmstad

We are now looking for engaged and responsible summer substitutes for Scan's production facility in Halmstad during the period of June-August 2026. With us, you will gain valuable experience in one of Sweden's largest food production companies. We are best known for our brands Scan, Pärsons, and Bullens. As a summer substitute, you may work with slicing, packaging, and labeling of meat and charcuterie products.

We are looking for someone who can work for 8 weeks during the summer. You are flexible, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy being active in your role. You are not afraid to pitch in and are used to maintaining a high pace while being mindful of both quality and safety. You should be able to work in a team and collaborate with others, as several departments require cooperation to achieve the best possible results. We place great importance on your personal qualities and value teamwork and self-drive. Previous experience in industrial or food work and/or having a forklift license and experience is considered an advantage.

What you can expect from us: As a summer substitute, you will be welcomed into a team with a responsible production leader. During your initial time with us, we will train you in safety, quality, and hygiene. The position is full-time, meaning a 40-hour week with varying working hours. Scan values a good working environment, which is why health checks and random alcohol and drug tests may occur before and during your employment. The summer job period for 2026 starts in week 26 and runs through week 33; we prefer that you can work the entire period, 8 weeks.
