We are looking for a Receptionist at Scandic Stora Hotellet

What does the role entail? As a receptionist, you are responsible for providing our guests with world-class service. You are the spider in the web, ensuring that the guest is always the focus. You go through the arrival list and pay attention to the details. You ensure that the guest's wishes are fulfilled and always have a smile on your face with a creative solution in your back pocket. You solve most issues and are a star at turning an unhappy guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, where you meet the most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, security tasks, and sales work. The work in the reception involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing the information they need about their stay. You manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus. The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).
Who are you? To fit in this role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and can handle multiple things happening at once. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests. You also have experience and knowledge of working with computers as a tool. Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage. However, the most important thing is your personal qualities and attitude. To fit in this role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
