As summer staff at the Cemetery, you are expected to perform all relevant tasks. If you work with landscaping, this includes:  

• Planting 

• Watering 

• Lawn mowing 

• Weeding 

• Hedge trimming  

• And other relevant tasks. 

If you work in the workshop, it may involve: 

• Minor repair tasks 

• Painting fences  

• And other maintenance tasks. 

We use several larger and smaller machines, and daily maintenance of these is included in the job responsibilities. We work in groups, and in some cases independently during periods. You are responsible, together with your colleagues, for ensuring that assigned tasks are performed correctly and safely. Our main task is burials. 

• Experience in the green sector 

• Enjoy working in a team as well as independently 

• Service-oriented with a sense of precision 

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and not afraid to pitch in when needed 

• Feel comfortable in the environment that the cemetery represents and have the ability to meet both colleagues and visitors with respect and understanding 

The work is physically demanding, which requires you to be in good physical shape, and you must be at least 18 years old to work as a cemetery worker. You need to have at least an AM driving license to work with us. As some of our cemeteries are spread over large areas, we use service bicycles to get around, so you need to be able to ride a bike.
