Care Assistant to Antnäs Home Care

Antnäs is a village about 18 km outside the center of Luleå. We start the day together in our premises at Gevärsvägen 1, where we go through the day's assignments before heading out. We work across a large and beautiful area south of Luleå through Antnäs and other Sörbyar. Since the area is geographically broad, you will spend some time in the car, which also provides an opportunity for reflection and recovery between client visits.

Working hours vary, starting from 07:00 and some days working until 21:30, which means that access to a car is necessary as public transport does not always fit. Job Description

As a care assistant in home care, you provide care and support to our clients in their own homes. You conduct visits both independently and together with a colleague, meeting several different clients during a workday. The number of visits per shift varies. Your tasks are both varied and important. You work to give our clients the opportunity to live a dignified and independent life, despite any disabilities or illnesses. Your work includes collaborating with other professionals to provide the best possible care and support, tailored to each client's needs and circumstances.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Personal care.
• Mobilization and transfer.
• Social support.
• Medication management.
• Documentation in clients' journals according to social services legislation.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, a genuine interest and commitment to providing support and assistance to people with disabilities and/or illnesses is required. You also need to have:

• Previous experience in care and support work.
• Good digital competence and the ability to handle phones, apps, computers, and programs without problems, as well as the ability to quickly learn new digital systems and tools as needed.
• Approved grades in Swedish, at least equivalent to grade 9.
• A driving license (B) and access to a car to commute to and from the workplace.

It is advantageous if you are a trained care assistant and have experience with documentation and have previously had medication delegation. If you also have experience working in the planning system Plan, there is an opportunity to develop in the role and take on the responsibility of support planner during weekends.

As a person, you are stable and considerate and have the ability to independently find solutions to arising problems.
