Community Planning Administration

The Community Planning Administration aims to make, maintain, manage, and develop the municipality's physical environment, infrastructure, and transport with a forward-looking approach. The administration's work is characterized by collaboration, a holistic view, and efficient resource utilization. Through good planning, the administration contributes to an attractive living environment that is sustainably long-term from ecological, social, and economic perspectives.

The Community Planning Administration consists of the following operational areas: Physical planning, Water, sewage and waste, Streets, parks and forests, and Properties, Environment and construction. The Project and Investment Unit drives and coordinates the administration's new and reinvestments.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Service Unit is looking for an experienced bus driver to join its team. The Service Unit belongs to the Technical Department within the Community Planning Administration.

The position as a bus driver includes driving special transports. There are also tasks that do not involve vehicles. A D-license is required for transporting with special vehicles that have a tail lift.

As a bus driver, you will perform transports to and from day activities and group homes. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible and proactive for continuous improvements regarding order and tidiness within the operation. The latter is a very essential part of your role.

Since the job as a bus driver involves many contacts with users and staff, we want you to have good social skills, be responsible, and self-driven. We expect you to be computer literate and view the computer as a tool in your work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We require the following:

• High school education
• Driving licenses B and D
• YKB for D-license

It is advantageous if you have:

• Driven a bus for more than 2 years.
• Good local knowledge.
• Driven a taxi bus with a tail lift.
• Computer skills

To be considered for the position, you must have B and D driving licenses, as well as YKB. As a person, you are responsible with a strong sense of order and tidiness. You are service-oriented with great social skills and enjoy collaborating with others. You like to contribute to the team as well as work independently. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

OTHER

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. Usually, Swedish citizenship is required. A security review with a background check will be conducted before employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
