Järnbrottshus Care and Support Home has two units for general care and support and one unit for respite care. In total, there are 25 apartments and 14 respite places here. We are now looking for a nursing assistant for our somatic unit. Our working method is based on a person-centered approach, focusing on supporting the individual to have a meaningful everyday life based on their life history.

We value your commitment, competence, and previous experiences. For us, it is important to always put the residents at the center and work based on the National Value Base of the National Board of Health and Welfare in all meetings.

Your tasks include personal care and support, medical interventions, everyday support, and collaboration in the care team. Some tasks are performed on behalf of licensed personnel. You are also a contact person for some selected residents, where you have additional responsibilities with a clear assignment.

Your working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and every other weekend. We work based on adjustable basic schedules, which means you work according to the needs of the operation but have some opportunity to influence your schedule each month in the period schedule.

At Järnbrottshus, you work in a trusting work environment with good collaboration between the responsible nurse and management to provide the absolute best for the residents.

About You

The requirements for the position are that you are a trained nursing assistant and can show the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate of protected professional title. You also need experience in care and support work. Further education in care and support or having had supervisory training and experience in supporting and developing employees is an advantage.

The job requires computer skills for documentation in IT systems and good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with others.

In your role, you meet many people, which requires you to have good collaboration skills, be flexible, and always be respectful and open in your meetings. You are pedagogical and adapt your communication according to the recipient's conditions, promoting dialogue, participation, and engagement.
