We are looking for a Sheet Metal Worker/Damage Repair Technician for our repair shop in Bockara

We are now seeking an experienced and committed Sheet Metal Worker/Damage Repair Technician for our repair shop, where we work on repairs of passenger cars, vans, and motorhomes. The position is suitable for you who want a varied and practical job in a modern workshop with a focus on quality, safety, and efficient processes.

In the role of Sheet Metal Worker/Damage Repair Technician, you will work on repairing body damage on passenger cars, vans, and motorhomes. The work includes straightening, replacing, and assembling body parts, as well as working with various materials such as aluminum, steel components, wood, plastic, and fiberglass.

You will also be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting through tasks such as filling and sanding. If necessary, disassembly and reassembly of interiors and other components are included in connection with damage repairs.

We offer modern tools and advanced equipment, as well as efficient documentation for completed work, and follow damage processes according to the guidelines set by insurance companies. The role involves close collaboration with damage assessment to ensure an efficient and high-quality workflow.

PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

You have experience working as a vehicle sheet metal worker or body technician and are used to working with both passenger cars and vans, where experience with motorhomes is considered an advantage. You have good knowledge of modern material compositions, such as aluminum and high-strength steel, as well as experience with straightening work and measuring equipment. Experience from a repair shop certified by insurance companies is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is meticulous and quality-conscious with a solution-oriented approach and good problem-solving skills. You take responsibility for your work, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with varied tasks. At the same time, you are communicative, collaborative, and contribute to a positive work climate in the team.

You have at least a B driver's license, with a C driver's license being a plus. Of course, you speak and write fluent Swedish and English.
