Workshop Mechanic with an interest in customer service and reception

Are you a technician at heart but also enjoy customer contact? Do you want a long-term job where you can alternate between practical workshop work and service, customer reception, and invoicing? Then this could be the position for you.

We are now looking for a workshop mechanic for our operations in Växjö with immediate start. The role is broad and varied and suits you who want to take responsibility all the way, from technical work in the workshop to meeting the customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will work both operationally in the workshop and administratively/customer-facing. Your tasks will include:

  • Troubleshooting, service, and repairs of recreational vehicles/equipment

  • Technical problem-solving in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and related areas

  • Customer reception, service, and customer contact, both over the counter and via phone

  • Invoicing and simpler administration related to the workshop

  • Trade-in tests and assessments

  • Collaboration with colleagues to ensure high quality and good customer satisfaction

The role involves great variation where no day is the same and where your technical competence is combined with a sense of service. A hybrid role where you do not screw full-time but have the opportunity to engage in practical work with administrative tasks.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a technician at heart and enjoys a varied role where you can combine practical workshop work with customer service and reception. You enjoy troubleshooting and solving technical problems but also see the value in a professional and pleasant customer interaction. For you, it is natural to take responsibility all the way, from the first customer contact to finished work and completed invoicing.

You work in a structured and meticulous manner, have an easy time planning your workday, and adapt smoothly when circumstances change. At the same time, you are self-driven, proactive, and contribute to good teamwork.

We believe that you:

  • Are a mechanic/technician at heart with technical education or practical experience

  • Have a broad technical interest in areas such as mechanics, electrical, or vehicles

  • Enjoy customer contact and have a good sense of service

  • Are solution-oriented, responsible, and quality-conscious

  • Have a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written

  • Have a B driver's license (requirement)

Meritorious:

  • Experience in customer reception or service administration

  • Familiarity with invoicing or working in business/workshop systems

  • Experience from workshops, the automotive industry, or similar technical environments
