Specialist in Electrical Safety and Work Environment

Are you ready to join us on our exciting journey? Ellevio is one of Sweden's largest electricity network companies, and together we continue to electrify Sweden. With us, you are part of a safe and important future industry while having the opportunity to make a difference, grow as an individual, and have fun along the way! We believe in a bright and sustainable future, do you?

We are now looking for a Specialist in Electrical Safety and Work Environment who wants to enhance safety in the electricity network industry!

About the Role

We are facing significant and exciting challenges as electricity networks are expanded and modernized to secure electricity supply now and in the future. At Ellevio, we run a business where work environment and safety culture are top priorities. We are a client organization, which means much of our work is carried out by contractors. Together with them, we work towards our common zero vision regarding accidents.

As a Specialist in Electrical Safety and Work Environment, you will be part of the Sustainability Team, which works integrally with environmental, work environment, and electrical safety issues related to our operations, maintenance, and project activities. You will become our expert in electrical safety with a focus on proactively driving improvement work and guiding and supporting the organization in electrical safety and work environment. A large part of the role involves analyzing incidents and data, identifying risks, and suggesting preventive measures, as well as supporting and training in ESA, electrical legislation, and incident management, where we use the IA system. Electrical safety is your focus, but you will also work with broader work environment issues related to our client role and our field-related activities. You will also participate in contractor meetings and industry collaborations and conduct contractor follow-ups and audits.

The work involves many points of contact, and there will be travel to our facilities and offices as well as to our suppliers in Sweden and abroad. The estimated number of travel days is about 25 days/year.

Your colleagues in the Sustainability Team are located in the offices in Stockholm and Karlstad, which is why we prefer that you are stationed at one of these offices. For the right person, there is also the possibility of having Kungsbacka or Bollnäs as a placement location.

We have a genuine commitment to safety issues at all levels of the company, which creates great opportunities to continue driving and developing the area. Welcome to a key role in making the electricity network industry safer – for colleagues, customers, contractors, and society.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who, with great interest and knowledge, has the ability to inspire others in electrical safety and work environment issues.

You have relevant education and solid experience in driving and coordinating work environment issues, as well as a deep understanding of electricity and electrical safety. You are development-oriented and thrive in the role of expert and support function.

To succeed in the role, you need to enjoy collaborating and communicating with others, be confident in yourself, and have good analytical skills and structure in your work.

For this position, you need to express yourself well both in writing and verbally in both Swedish and English.

Ellevio as an Employer

It is important for us that employees feel comfortable, engaged, and driven by the desire to continuously learn new things and develop. Only then can we together achieve our vision of a bright and sustainable future. With us, you have great opportunities to influence the company as a whole and your own career. A fine testament to this is that we have been named a Career Company in 2026 - for the sixth consecutive year!

We constantly work towards a sustainable and developing work climate where equality, diversity, and inclusion are a given. For example, there is the ELLE network, Ellevio's internal women's network, and we train all employees in collective intelligence to create conditions for increased collaboration and well-being.

We also offer flexible working hours and, in dialogue with your immediate manager, the possibility to work from home a couple of days a week.
