Responsibilities

As a refuse collector with a C license, you will become an important part of our team working for a cleaner and more sustainable environment. You will perform a variety of tasks, including:

• Collection and sorting of waste from households and businesses, which may involve heavy lifting and physical activity outdoors.
• Transport of waste to the waste facility.
• Ensuring that all safety and environmental procedures are followed during your work.
• Actively working to inform the public about proper waste management.
• Participating in planned maintenance and repairs of our equipment.

Qualifications

• Possession of a C license and YKB is required, as you will be driving our vehicles.
• You have experience in waste management or similar jobs, which prepares you well for the challenges that may arise.
• You are a careful and responsible person who places great importance on safety and environmental considerations.
• It is important that you are a good team player, as you will be working with colleagues to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• You have a positive attitude, which helps create a pleasant working environment.
• Good communication skills are appreciated, both for collaboration with the team and for communication with the public.

Vänersborgs Kretslopp & Vatten is responsible for the production and distribution of drinking water as well as the diversion and treatment of wastewater and stormwater. Furthermore, Vänersborgs Kretslopp & Vatten is responsible for reading and replacing water meters. The operation also includes the Waste Management.
