We are now looking for five assistants/care assistants for Komarken's home care on a temporary contract until the end of August 2026, with a chance for extension. The position is 100%, 37 hours/week with shifts during the day/evening and every other weekend.

Job Responsibilities

Your task with us is to provide our users with safe and good care, support in daily life, and a stimulating leisure time.

You will provide support to the user at home with:

  • Daily hygiene.
  • Social interaction.
  • Activities.
  • Accompaniment to doctors and community visits.
  • Perform delegated tasks such as health and medical care interventions based on the user's individual needs.
  • Handle everyday chores such as cleaning, meal support, and laundry.
  • Assist users with weekly shopping using an iPad.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has personal maturity and the ability to work independently, taking responsibility for your work and contributing to the development of the organization by taking your own initiatives. Collaboration skills and an empathetic ability are important traits, as you will have daily contact with our users and their relatives. We also appreciate a holistic view and quality awareness in your work, where you perform your tasks in a structured and clear manner.

To be considered for this recruitment, you need to meet the following requirements:

  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Ability to cycle.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Previously worked in care and support.
  • Experience with social documentation.
  • Trained as a care assistant.
