Responsibilities

Your task with us is to provide our clients with safe and good care, support in daily life, and a stimulating leisure time.

As a nursing assistant in home care, you are an important part of our clients' lives. You provide support in everyday life, from personal hygiene and social interaction to activities and companionship. You also have delegated health and medical care tasks based on the client's needs.

• Be a permanent care contact.
• Have representative roles.
• Assist with household chores such as cleaning, meals, and laundry.
• Support clients with weekly shopping via iPad.
• Document care.

📅Working hours: Day, evening, and every other weekend.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is confident and has a genuine interest in people. You have the ability to work independently, taking responsibility for your work and contributing to the development of the organization by taking your own initiatives. Collaboration skills and empathy are important qualities, as you will have daily contact with our clients and their relatives. We prefer that you have a holistic view and are quality-conscious in your work, where you perform your tasks in a structured and clear manner.

To be considered for this recruitment, you need to meet the following requirements:

• Completed education as a nursing assistant.
• Protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate confirming that you were permanently employed with the title nursing assistant as of July 1, 2023.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills.
• Be able to cycle or have a B driver's license.

It is an advantage to have:

• Previously worked in care and support.
• Experience with social documentation.
• VOC diploma.

• You should provide two references from managers, one of which should be your current or most recent manager, or a previous supervisor. If you have no previous work experience, provide one of your teachers as a reference. Remember to contact your references before entering their contact details.
• If you have previously been employed within Kungälv Municipality, we will contact your former manager for internal references as part of our recruitment process.
• For those who are not citizens of the EU/EES area, a work permit is required; this does not apply to those with permanent residence permits. The work permit must be presented at the interview.
