Nanny / Housemanager / Family Assistant (Private Household)

We are now looking for a Nanny / Housemanager / Family Assistant for a warm and active family based in Stockholm. The family is seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive person for a full-time position as a housekeeper and family assistant. The role involves helping the family maintain order in the household's daily routines and family logistics. The family has two children aged 11 and 15.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for general tidiness and cleaning in the home (especially the kitchen and children's rooms)
• Daily cleaning, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organization
• Grocery shopping, errands, package deliveries, and pickups
• Occasional simple cooking or meal prep (family meals, children's lunches, etc.)
• Dog walking and general pet care
• Assisting with packing and preparations for family trips
• Assisting with receiving guests and simple table setting
• Driving children to and from school or activities (driver's license required)
• Coordinating with contractors, deliveries, and household bookings
• Keeping track of household supplies (cleaning products, staples, etc.)

Working Hours

• Typically 4–6 hours per day, starting around 12:00 PM
• Some flexibility required depending on the family's schedule, travel, and weekends

Location

• Main residence in Stockholm
• Occasional workdays at the family's summer house in the Stockholm archipelago (transport arranged)

Vacation and Leave

• According to Swedish law regarding vacation and benefits
• We kindly ask that longer leaves are not taken during July, as this is one of the family's most intensive months — we appreciate at least 50% availability during this period

Profile

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and naturally organized
• Warm and friendly with a positive attitude
• Independent and used to handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Fluent in English or Swedish (both are advantageous)
• Holds a valid driver's license
