JOB DESCRIPTION

The work consists of providing support to people who need help in their daily lives. You work independently but are part of a team with other care staff who are there to support you in your daily work.

The workplaces we offer jobs at are:

• Special housing/nursing homes (all areas) Alunda, Gimo, and Östhammar, available in each area. The work involves assisting with personal care, outdoor activities, shared meals, simple training, and various forms of activities that enhance comfort and social interaction. We provide care around the clock in our operations.
• Home care (all areas) Alunda, Gimo, and Östhammar. You provide service and care to the elderly and disabled living in their own homes. You will work from one of our home care offices and travel between homes by bike or car. The work involves assistance with care and accompanying on activities. It may also involve medical tasks such as administering medication and dressing wounds with the support of a nurse. We provide care around the clock in our operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in working with people and who wants to help others have a meaningful daily life. You are willing to learn new tasks, good at meeting people, and have good teamwork skills. We prefer that you are at least 18 years old. Good Swedish in speech and writing is necessary. It is a plus if you have a high school education, and an extra plus if you have completed the care and nursing program. It is also a great advantage if you have a driver's license as some of our jobs require it.
