The Culture Unit is looking for guides/café hosts for Ornässtugan

Ornässtugan has a museum where historical guided tours are offered, as well as a café where everything is baked on-site.

We have a special focus on fika that is baked without gluten, eggs, and milk.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Guiding, café work, sales, dishwashing, cash reporting, and local and area maintenance.

Working hours: scheduled shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

The position is a fixed-term employment from June to August 2026. Training for new staff will take place during the first working days.

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer candidates with an interest in service, tourism, history, café, information, and culture. A background in history and tourism studies, as well as café or food experience, is an advantage, as a large part of the workday is spent on café tasks.

A requirement is very good language skills in Swedish and English, which are needed for guiding and interacting with both international and national visitors.

You should be service-oriented, proactive, meticulous, flexible, socially competent, and comfortable speaking in front of a group. It is important to be cooperative, as we are a small team where everyone's work is needed.

During the interview, you as a candidate must provide proof of citizenship in Sweden/EU/EES or a valid work residence permit.
