Your role with us

As a chef, you will work with qualified cooking. The job also includes safely preparing and handling special diets and menus for our guests with dietary needs. You will plan, organize, and lead the daily work in the kitchen with your colleagues. Furthermore, traditional tasks that occur in kitchens such as self-control, ordering, invoice management, dishwashing, cleaning, and more are included.

Our guests are within the school system. You will have daily contact with school staff and students and are expected to be a good ambassador for GS Meals operations.

In Fjällbacka, you will work in a care kitchen with weekend shifts, which means you work every other weekend.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has passed grades from the restaurant and food program with a focus on the kitchen or another education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience working in a production kitchen and knowledge of and experience with special diet cooking. We also want you to have experience with ordering and invoice management. Good knowledge of food hygiene and self-control is a requirement.

You have good computer skills and can express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have knowledge and experience with dietary software.

Your personal qualities are important, and we are looking for someone who is flexible and solution-oriented. This means you can work in other kitchens if needed, quickly adapt to changes, and prioritize tasks when the situation requires it.

We want you to be attentive, cooperative, and enjoy working closely with both colleagues and schools. You have a positive and enthusiastic attitude and are passionate about combining cooking with meeting people. Your drive and commitment shine through in your daily work, and you like to stay one step ahead to create the best possible experience. Being able to contribute that little extra to both colleagues and guests is important to you.

Since we have operations that are also linked to childcare, you will need to present a criminal record check according to the provisions in Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act if you are offered employment.
