Together, their 520 employees deliver district heating and geoenergy to various types of properties, as well as steam, heat, cooling, and related infrastructure solutions to industries. With over 50 years of experience in the energy sector, the group currently operates 350 facilities in the Nordic countries and the Baltic region. Adven is now looking for:

You will work at our various facilities in Älmhult and be involved in the entire process from fuel reception to delivery of heat to the customer. This gives you the opportunity to learn and be an important part of energy production and distribution. Currently, the team in Älmhult consists of four operations and maintenance technicians who work under the guidance of an operations and maintenance manager, responsibly managing the operation and maintenance of the facilities together. You will work both independently and with your colleagues.

Main responsibilities:

· Operation, supervision, rounds, control, and monitoring of production facilities

· Planned and corrective maintenance

· Work according to the laws, regulations, and policies that affect the facilities

The position is a permanent employment during daytime with on-call duty included.

Your background

We are looking for someone with relevant technical education focused on operations, maintenance, marine engineering, or equivalent work experience. Experience in combustion and knowledge of computerized control and monitoring systems is an advantage. Strongly advantageous is also experience in control and regulation, instrumentation, or similar.

The work requires that you can take and manage freedom under your own responsibility. You have your own drive and see what needs to be done in the daily operations and are happy to take your own initiatives to develop it. Good collaboration skills are a given for us. We place great importance on your personal qualities. A driver's license (B) is a requirement.

As on-call duty is included in the position, we would like you to live (or be willing to move) in close proximity to Älmhult.
