At Lärarförmedlarna, our mission is to ensure that the door to the classroom is always open - even when regular teachers are sick or need to be away. It's an important job where you make a difference for children and young people every day.

Lärarförmedlarna is the largest provider of substitute teachers in Sweden. We have agreements with many schools and preschools and a variety of exciting assignments to work with! We are now looking for someone to work as a subject teacher in physical education at the middle school level (grades 7-9) during the autumn term.

How Lärarförmedlarna Works

With Lärarförmedlarna, work life becomes easier! You can work from preschool to adult education, a lot or a little, often or rarely. Assignments last from a few weeks up to a term (Do you want to work on shorter assignments or just a few days? Then we recommend our sister company; Pamoja). You are always matched to your best assignment and never have to compete with colleagues for jobs. It's safe for both you and the school.

How the Job Works

As a substitute teacher, your job includes planning and conducting lessons. It also involves communication with colleagues and parents. You can easily manage the job in our user-friendly app. When you need support, we are always close by; in chat, by phone, or email. You will have both a personal contact person and a large network of colleagues to learn from and develop with.

What Do You Need to Know?

Our clients love our staff! That's why we are meticulous in our recruitment.

→ You need to be a qualified teacher or have other relevant education.

→ You need to have experience in teaching, assessment, and evaluation.

→ You are a skilled educator who understands that the job also involves motivating and inspiring.

→ You need to speak and write Swedish (or in some cases English) and have a valid extract from the criminal record.

→ You should want to be a role model for everyone you meet. Smart and kind, simply put :)

→ You need to be able to work part-time or full-time during the autumn term.
