Tekda is looking for a Service Technician with a passion for advanced machinery technology
About the company
Tekda is a Swedish technology company that develops, manufactures, and delivers advanced, fully automated machines for spring and spiral production. The company is particularly known for its in-line spring coiling solutions, where the entire manufacturing process takes place in a coherent and efficient production flow – from wire feeding and winding to quality control.

In addition to machine deliveries, Tekda also offers service, technical support, training, and spare parts, making the service technician role a central and business-critical function within the company.
About the role
As a service technician at Tekda, you are the company's face to the customer and a key person in ensuring high reliability and customer satisfaction. The role involves flexible work where you operate both independently and in close dialogue with customers and colleagues.
You will work with installation, service, troubleshooting, and repair of technical equipment – both internally and at customer sites. The job involves travel, sometimes internationally, and you will either work from your home or an agreed location. A service vehicle is included.
Of course, you will receive the product and system training needed to succeed in the role.
Your work will include:
- Preventive maintenance
- Installation and commissioning of technical equipment
- Service and repairs
- Advanced troubleshooting
- Documentation of completed work
- Technical support to customers (on-site and remotely)
- Customer dialogue and advice
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is technically interested, solution-oriented, and practical. You thrive in a role with significant responsibility and enjoy working closely with customers. Since the work often takes place in production, you need to be structured, service-oriented, and confident in your technical skills.
The role is partially physically demanding and involves travel, which requires flexibility.
We believe you have:
- Experience in troubleshooting, service, and repair of technical/industrial equipment
- A strong technical interest and a desire to develop
- Good problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently
- Good collaboration skills and social competence
- Driver's license (B)
- Good knowledge of English; Swedish is a plus
Experience in automation, mechanics, electrical engineering, or mechatronics, as well as working on-site in an industrial environment, is advantageous.
