Cleaning

Cleaning is part of Regionservice and plays a crucial role in Region Blekinge's work. Our mission is to create a clean and safe environment in everything from administrative buildings to healthcare facilities, which is a prerequisite for safe and quality care. Cleaning and deep cleaning east is responsible for the region's premises in the eastern part of the county and works with both daily cleaning and specially adapted services.

About the Job

As a cleaner, you will be part of a workgroup whose task is to maintain the hygiene requirements set for our premises. You will have your own primary area of responsibility or be part of a deep cleaning group that performs work in all premises belonging to Region Blekinge.

Our responsibility is daily cleaning but may also include floor care, deep cleaning, and infection cleaning. We conduct cleaning 7 days a week, and weekend work may be required. Work is performed during the day, and evening hours on weekdays as well as daytime on weekends.

When you work with us, you will use modern cleaning equipment and machines to maintain the high hygiene standards required in Region Blekinge.

In this recruitment process, ongoing selection, interviews, and orientation will be applied.

Region Blekinge places all permanent employees in a war position. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).

About You

To be considered for the position, you have documented high school qualifications and master the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Since information and instructions for performing the work are available electronically, you need to be computer literate. We consider it an advantage if you have experience in cleaning within healthcare, machine cleaning, and SRY training or equivalent education. Some cleaning positions require a B driver's license.

We are looking for someone who is meticulous and responsible with the ability to work independently and take initiative. Since the position as a cleaner may involve performing cleaning in up to six different areas on a rotating schedule, you need to be flexible and able to adapt to new situations, even with short notice. Your calm and attentive personality makes you approachable and skilled at creating comfort and security for those you work for and with.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability; a driver's license is required.
