Your Role

You will be part of the Fighter Simulation and Support Systems (FSS) department within the Aeronautics Business Unit Gripen. You will belong to the Sourcing & Supply section, which supplies and produces ground-based support and training systems for various platforms.

Your main tasks will be to coordinate the production team's work and produce the support and training systems for Gripen CD and Gripen EF. The systems largely consist of commercially available hardware in the form of computers and devices with associated peripherals.

We need someone who can assemble, install, pack, and prepare transports for our products.

Your main tasks will include:

• Production and assembly of our products
• Coordinating the operational work and business development within the section's production branch.
• Acting as the Point of Contact within Sourcing & Supply production for the organization
• Working according to developed production documentation for new and existing products
• Setting up system solutions and preparing for delivery meetings with customers
• Developing new and existing workflows
• Streamlining and continuously improving current processes
• Creating and maintaining work instructions
• Creating and maintaining component lists
• Labeling of components
• License documentation
• Packing of produced products
• Handling logistics issues such as transport orders, inventory, and receiving control

Other tasks may occur related to the product lifecycle of the systems and also within logistics, methods, and processes.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with an interest and experience in assembling computers and devices. We would also like you to have previous experience in packing and transport preparations. Knowledge of Saab's tools, processes, and standards is an advantage. Experience in logistics and warehouse work as well as some form of work leadership is also advantageous.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
