MAB Production AB is an experienced and well-respected subcontractor in advanced manufacturing of customized components primarily in stainless steel. The company specializes in the production of tailored and complex products with high precision. As a leading player in the industry, MAB Production delivers products to various sectors worldwide, with three major customer segments being pump and water solutions, medical technology, and the energy industry.

The company was founded in 1984 and currently has around 30 employees distributed across several departments that work closely together in daily operations. We are now looking for a Polishing & Final Inspection Technician for our grinding and polishing department at the production unit in Jordbro.

About the position

In this role, you will be a key person in the final stages of our manufacturing process. You will work both operationally with grinding/polishing and adjustments while supporting colleagues to increase output, improve quality, and enhance workflows in the department. You will also have a clear responsibility for inspection and final control before delivery.

You will collaborate closely with the Team Lead for Grinding & Polishing and the COO, becoming an important part of our improvement efforts.

Your tasks

• Perform and be responsible for grinding, polishing, and adjusting products.

• Support others in the department to increase output and quality.

• Contribute to continuous improvement and help others to make adjustments and work according to the right methods.

• Drive efficiencies in the grinding and polishing process together with the Team Lead/management.

• Work to reduce the number of adjustments through root cause analysis and improved working methods.

• Inspection and final control before delivery (quality assurance, assessment of surface finish/requirements).

• Support logistics with planning related to deliveries when needed.

• Carry out repairs/restoration of products when required.

Your profile

You are hands-on, quality-driven, and enjoy taking responsibility. You like to combine craftsmanship with structure and improvement thinking, and you are confident in supporting others in their daily tasks.

We believe you have:

• Experience in some type of craftsmanship, e.g., welding, sheet metal work, painting.

• Experience in grinding/polishing is a plus, and preferably experience with surface finish requirements.

• Familiarity with quality control/inspection and working to specifications.

• Good communication skills in Swedish and/or English.

• High school education or equivalent practical experience.
