Job responsibilities in blacksmithing and welding

In this role, you will work with preventive and corrective assembly, maintenance, as well as manufacturing and repairing metal structures. Your tasks include, among others:

• Manufacturing, repairing, and assembling steel and metal structures according to drawings and specifications
• Welding using various methods, e.g., MIG, MAG, and TIG
• Cutting, bending, and processing metal
• Assembling beams, railings, gates, and other metal components
• Quality and safety checks of completed work
• Collaboration with colleagues within the project team to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements and competencies for the blacksmith/welder role

• Several years of practical experience in blacksmithing and welding within construction or industry
• Knowledgeable in reading blueprints and accustomed to working according to instructions
• Certification or training in welding (MIG/MAG/TIG) is an advantage
• Driver's license B and good Swedish skills in speech and writing are required
• Experience working with tools and machines in a workshop environment
• Basic understanding of work environment and safety
