Staff Assistant/Instructor for Military Region Group Skåne

The Military Region Group Skåne is looking for a staff assistant/instructor to support the military region group with administration, implementation, and follow-up of its tasks. The position is primarily aimed at those who are serving/have served in the Armed Forces as a group leader and want to try new tasks. The position is placed at level OR 4-5 (group leader level).
About the Military Region Group
The Military Region Group Skåne is a military unit responsible for leadership, training, and administrative support of four Home Guard battalions, four independent units, and five Home Guard music corps in the Southern Military Region. The Military Region Group Skåne is organized into three sections with a mix of civilian and military personnel. The Military Region Group Skåne is located in four places in Skåne: Revingehed, Malmö, Helsingborg, and Rinkaby.
Main Responsibilities
In the role of staff assistant, you will contribute to coordination and support primarily to the Training Section in the Military Region Group Skåne. Your tasks will include supporting both the section chief and the entire section in planning and handling incoming and outgoing information in several command systems, both open and classified. You will work with preparations, execution, and follow-up of meetings, conferences, visits, etc. The work also involves working in the military region group's command support system, which manages planning, execution, coordination, and follow-up of the military region group's tasks and activities. Furthermore, you will provide editorial support in the production of orders, reports, and plans, as well as assist the military region group with other administrative tasks, command duties, orders, and expedition services, and train Home Guard units within your function.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Approved high school diploma
- Approved military basic training
- Approved military group leader training from military basic training

MERITORIOUS
- Previous experience within the Armed Forces
- Military basic training as a staff assistant
- Previous experience of staff service in battalion, brigade, higher staff, or equivalent
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
- Driving license B
- Military driver's license
- Good ability to handle various computer programs

Other
Employment form: GSS/K, fixed-term employment of a maximum of eight years with the possibility of extension (max 12 years). The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not already employed by the authority.
Position level: OR4-OR5.
Employment rate: Full-time. Work during evenings and weekends often occurs.
Work location: Revingehed. Business trips with overnight stays often occur.
Start date: By agreement, but no later than 2026-04-01.
