The Cemetery Administration in Åre Parish is looking for a person for gravestone maintenance for the summer season of 2025.

Job Responsibilities:

Cleaning gravestones and re-digging gravestone bases belonging to the parish. Åre Parish has 14 cemeteries from Handöl to Marby. Many stones have moss growth that needs to be washed away. Some gravestones are leaning and need to be straightened/re-dug. Other tasks may occur, such as clearing brush. You will work independently and sometimes together with others. Only outdoor work. The work will start at the cemetery in Undersåker and then continue to one of Åre Parish's cemeteries.

The position is 100%.

Qualifications:

Experience in similar work is required as great care is needed to avoid damaging the gravestones and the text. Familiarity with the Church of Sweden is a plus. You should be service-oriented as we will come into contact with many people in our work.

Experience with machinery, a driver's license, and access to your own car are necessary.

A chainsaw license and an ATV license are a plus but not required.

A prerequisite for the position is that you are a member of the Church of Sweden.
