Description

The Parks Department of Hällefors municipality is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of parkland and green spaces, as well as the operation and maintenance of playgrounds, bathing areas, and sports facilities.

We are looking for several seasonal employees who want to help ensure the quality of the external maintenance of public spaces.

The seasonal positions are from April to September 2026. We are also looking for a shorter summer substitute for the period from June to August.

Job Responsibilities

As a park worker, you will:

• Perform common tasks in green space maintenance, such as trimming, mowing, weeding, and cleaning.
• Take care of some equipment maintenance.
• Work both independently and in a team in a versatile and challenging role.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a B driver's license.
• Is practical and enjoys outdoor work.
• Is responsible, meticulous, and willing to work.
• Is positive, cooperative, and service-oriented.

Meritorious

• Education in green space maintenance or similar.
• Experience from similar work or machinery.

Conditions

The positions are temporary with a start date in April to September 2026, as well as June to August. The work is full-time. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
