In the role of Section Manager (Service Area Manager) Plant Design Piteå, you will have overall responsibility for the section's operations in terms of personnel, business, marketing, growth, and profitability. Your task will be to lead a sustainably long-term section with high competence and delivery capacity, which includes goal-oriented work with everything from service development, marketing, and sales to recruitment and development of our employees. The most important thing is to ensure that our employees thrive and develop through your coaching leadership. Furthermore, you will have a strong focus on taking care of existing customer relationships, creating new business opportunities, and developing new contacts.

The section Plant Design Piteå primarily works with the design and construction of piping and mechanics in both small and large industrial projects. Our clients are from several industries but mainly within Paper & Pulp and Mining & Steel.

As part of AFRY's office in Piteå, you will have about 60 competent and friendly colleagues. In the role of Section Manager, you will belong to Region North which extends from Hudiksvall to Kiruna and you will be part of the business unit's management team.

Qualifications

As a Section Manager, you are driven by challenges and are a business-oriented team player with competence and experience in the operational area. You have a strong desire to continue developing customer relationships and the organization further. In addition to your interest in business, you are also driven by nurturing and developing our staff. To succeed in the role, you have the ability to create and seize opportunities when they arise, and you see change and development as something positive.

We are looking for someone who recognizes themselves in the description below:

• You have a technical university degree in e.g. Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Design with documented work experience in the field.
• You have experience in leadership and personnel responsibility.
• You have experience in sales/business relationships and are used to interacting with customers.
• You have previously had budget and result responsibility.

To be successful in the role, you have an established network in the region that you actively utilize. You need to have a portion of humility and see collaboration as the key to success. As a person, you are self-driven, clear, and communicative. You are coaching in your leadership style and have good people skills.
