We are now strengthening our department Omexom OHL with several Power Installers and Lead Installers.  Omexom OHL is an expert organization in line contracting with projects in both new construction and renovation. With us, you will be involved in the development of Sweden's digital transition and you will help build and upgrade Sweden's electricity grid.

ABOUT THE ROLES You participate in the unit's goals and with your working methods contribute to profitability in the projects. Furthermore, you perform installations based on received instructions and manufacturing documentation and ensure that the work is carried out in such a way that technical, quality, environmental, safety, and security requirements are met. Since the work often takes place in complex environments, we place great importance on having a strong safety mindset and following applicable routines and regulations.

As a Power Installer:

• Perform installations within line contracting that involves climbing and working at heights.
• Participate together with the lead installer or designer in inspections and testing of completed work.
• Build or maintain the line network with consideration to legal requirements, safety regulations, and the customer's technical specifications.
• Conduct risk assessments before each new work task and manage any risks in a correct and safe manner, taking into account safety regulations and analyzed risks.
• Handle tools, machines, and protective equipment correctly and safely.

As a Lead Installer: If you are assigned the role of Lead Installer, you will also be the project manager's extended arm in the field. You plan the work on-site, order materials, and have contacts with subcontractors. Where applicable, you are the contact person for BAS-U and ensure that the work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Both roles report to the unit's group manager and you will be based in Sundsvall. You will work from home and be out in the field 4 days a week. Travel mainly occurs in central and northern Sweden. Furthermore, this is a permanent position with immediate start.

YOUR PROFILE You have several years of experience working as a Power Installer within line contracting or at power stations where the high voltage area has been up to 400 kV. Furthermore, you have a vocational education in electrical engineering at the high school level or equivalent. You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, have a good command of English, and hold a B driver's license.
