The company has recently been awarded a new and extensive contract with the city of Helsingborg, which includes operational and maintenance work as well as maintenance projects in central urban areas – streets, squares, and public environments where quality and visibility are crucial. They are now looking for several landscapers for service and maintenance for permanent employment, where you will have the chance to contribute your expertise to a mission that makes a difference for the entire urban environment.

Job responsibilities

As a landscaper, you will work with service and maintenance of Helsingborg's outdoor environments and infrastructure. The tasks are varied and can include everything from tree work, installation of road signs, pothole repairs to playground renovations and repair and surface treatment of outdoor equipment. The work takes place year-round and consists of both planned assignments and emergency interventions. You plan and structure your workday yourself but also collaborate closely with colleagues and other departments. At the same time, you are also prepared to take on other tasks when the needs of the business require it. The position is primarily based in Helsingborg but may periodically include other areas within the company, and on-call duty and weekend work are included according to a schedule.

• You work with the operation, service, and maintenance of the city's outdoor environments and infrastructure
• The tasks vary from road work to maintenance of green areas and playgrounds
• The role is independent but involves close collaboration and on-call duty

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Relevant high school education or post-secondary education in land & construction or equivalent work experience
• Interest in and ability to handle physical work in outdoor environments
• Meritorious with training such as hot work, chainsaw license, and work on roads (APV) as well as vocational certificates for construction machinery
• Meritorious with education or experience in playground inspection and/or supervision of playgrounds
• Driver's license B

To succeed in the role of landscaper in service and maintenance at Mark & Trädgård, you are curious, self-driven, and enjoy working both independently and with others. You take great responsibility for your tasks, ensure they are performed with high quality and on time, and act quickly when problems arise. You are proactive, flexible, and both technically and aesthetically inclined, which allows you to handle everything from service and maintenance work to repairs of outdoor equipment. As a team player, you collaborate closely with colleagues from different departments and see the big picture in the work.
