Cost Engineer at Lindinvent

The Role As a cost engineer with us, you will be responsible for developing cost-effective and sustainable solutions for our future projects based on technical documentation. You will calculate and present bids, clearly communicating how our products and systems can meet customer needs.

You will work closely with our customers, such as consultants and contractors, to create long-term relationships based on technical expertise and understanding. With your in-depth industry knowledge and analytical skills, you will build bridges between our technology and customers' current and future challenges, ensuring they have the best conditions to create sustainable and efficient properties.

Responsibilities:

• Bid calculations based on technical documentation such as drawings and descriptions.
• Writing bids with clear and accurate presentation of reservations.
• Developing solution proposals that are both technically correct and economically cost-effective.
• Providing technical support to consultants, contractors, and property owners through product information and system setup.
• Follow-up on bids including budget price control and upselling in ongoing projects.
• Participate in external meetings via phone, web, and in person with contractors, consultants, and property owners.
• Participate in internal meetings such as weekly meetings, regional meetings, and conferences.
• Responsible for order placement and internal orders of products for projects.

We are looking for someone who has:

• An engineering degree from a university or college in a relevant field, or a vocational engineering education in HVAC or another equivalent education.
• A technical background or interest, preferably in ventilation, HVAC, construction, electrical, property management, or automation.
• Experience from roles such as cost engineer, technical salesperson, project manager, or consultant.
• Experience in technical consulting.
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing, good grammatical level.
• Knowledge of Danish and Norwegian is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of the Office suite.
• Driver's license B.
