When disaster strikes, we are the ones who step up. As a remediation technician at Polygon, you help people and businesses restore their homes and premises after fires, water damage, and other injuries. It’s a job with meaning, where you see the results of your work every day.

About the position

You will belong to our district in Västerås, and your main tasks will be demolition and remediation of asbestos, but you will also work with other types of demolition and remediation as needed. A workday at Polygon is varied and exciting, as our assignments often come in at short notice. We work with all types of demolitions and remediations in varying scopes, for example, after fire and water damage in properties or before renovations and reconstructions. The work involves physical activity and a great variety of tasks, making it suitable for those who enjoy dynamic workdays.

In your role as a remediation technician, you will:

• Clean and restore buildings after fire, moisture, and mold damage
• Work with specialized remediation and demolition, focusing on asbestos
• Collaborate with colleagues, customers, and insurance companies
• Contribute to a safe and secure working environment
• Learn new techniques and work with modern equipment

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is driven and enjoys physical work. You have a strong work ethic and take responsibility for completing tasks carefully. You have a positive attitude and like to work both independently and together with colleagues.

Requirements:

• Experience in asbestos remediation (and preferably PCB)
• Driver's license B

Meritorious:

• Experience in PCB remediation
• Valid training and fitness certificate for asbestos
