We are looking for a cutter for Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby.

In Astrid Lindgren's World, visitors step straight into the world of fairy tales and become a part of it. Here, children and their families can meet, talk, and play with the characters from Astrid Lindgren's books. During the peak season, our visitors can see stories from the well-known books performed in over 30 different shows every day. Each year, the park welcomes about half a million visitors, making us Sweden's largest outdoor theater and a fairy tale world that creates memories for life. Our goal is to bring Astrid Lindgren's authorship to life and to work in her spirit based on the fundamental value that all people have the same worth and are equally important. With us, everyone has a significant role in creating a genuine and authentic experience of Astrid Lindgren's World.

Do you want to join us?

As a cutter, you will work in our costume workshop with all the costumes for all the characters in Astrid Lindgren's World. You will be part of the costume department team, which consists of tailors, cutters, and costume technicians. Here, we work closely together and help each other – therefore, we are looking for someone who is both social and enjoys collaborating. We are looking for someone who easily sees solutions rather than problems, takes responsibility, and thrives in a daily routine with varied tasks.

The work primarily consists of cutting for new sewing in all fairy tale environments.

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in tailoring and experience in the field of cutting for theater/stage costumes.
