Business Description

The cleaning service is in need of substitutes. The unit currently consists of 45 employees who provide cleaning services in the municipality's premises.

Job Responsibilities

The job responsibilities mainly consist of cleaning within the premises of Gällivare municipality. This includes cleaning schools, office spaces, and public areas. In your role as a cleaner, you will work both independently with responsibility for your own area and together with other cleaners. The cleaning service is in need of substitutes. Being a substitute with us means that we will schedule you for work during certain times when there is a need in the operation.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a high school education or equivalent training as assessed by the employer. The tasks of a cleaner require attention to detail, good planning skills, flexibility, communication, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility. You should have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You should be service-oriented and have a pleasant demeanor towards everyone in our areas, including colleagues and customers. Therefore, personal suitability is highly valued.

Within the framework of the national minority language law, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for a position in Gällivare municipality.

A valid driver's license (B) is desirable.
